When I learned last night from Ralia Vardaxis that Steve Butcher and Jeff Leisawitz, two Albright students from the early 1990s who now head up Brown Paper Tickets - a big deal not-just-for-profit ticketing and promotion company - would be passing by campus on the look-out for talent to record, I contacted several students who might be around and ready to perform on a moment's notice. All were interested. Availability was a problem. Fortunately Kaéla Edwards was able to take a break from RA training. She absolutely rocked the impromptu recording session with an original composition, and the alums left super impressed with today's Albright student talent. Steve and Jeff have promised to return in the Spring.
