Albright students and community members packed the Klein room to attend an Experience Event featuring Eugenie Mukeshimana, a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide and founder of the Genocide Survivors Support Network. She recounted, in the most compelling terms imaginable, her own survival as well as the stories of the hundreds of thousands who perished, revealing how quickly community can dissolve into unspeakably intimate horror. The talk was supported by the Albright Experience, the Political Science Department, the History Department, and the Edwin and Alma N. ’51 Lakin Holocaust Library & Resource Center.
