Thanks to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, under the leadership of Dr. Pam Artz, Albright's tradition of research talks is alive in Science Hall. Today's presenter was Fernanda Holloman '20 who is a 5th year PhD Candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. She described, in a clear and engaging talk, her work with roundworms and their simple but revealing neural system. She also traced her educational path from an Albright FirstYear with a strong interest in Volleyball through a postBacc at the NIH to cutting edge research at a leading center for neuroscience. Fueled by a relentless intellectual curiosity, Fernanda's is a trajectory that inspires our admiration and pride.
