This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Holocaust Library and Resource Center established by Albright College and the Jewish Federation of Reading. The occasion was celebrated with a public lecture, "The Universe of Nazi Camps and Ghettos" by Dr. Geoffrey P. Magargee, Applied Research Scholar at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Students, faculty, and members of the Community were welcomed by President McMillan, a proclamation of congratulations was read by Senator Judy Schwank, who recalled that her predecessor Mike O'Pake helped to open the Library and Center twenty years ago, and Dr. Magargee was introduced by Amanda Hornberger, Coordinator of the Holocaust Library and Resource Center. After his talk, Dr. Magargee responded to many questions from the large and attentive audience in the Wachovia Theatre.
