The Friends of Chamber Music of Reading, Pennsylvania have accepted the challenge of the pandemic and will be furthering its mission of bringing the finest chamber music to the broadest possible audience through a series of concerts exquisitely filmed and recorded in the legendary WCR Center for the Arts. Today's session combined the musical artistry of David Kim, violin, Jeffrey DeVault, piano, Priscilla Lee, cello, Burchard Tang, viola, and Nathaniel West, double bass with the visual artistry of David Hall, FOCM Board member and the creative force behind Lone Cricket Productions. We will release individual movements online in the weeks ahead, sparking interest among those on social media, and present the full concert of Schumann, Saint-Saens, and Schubert's Trout Quintet, again on line, for the friends and patrons whose ongoing support make our mission and its furtherance possible. We could not be more grateful.
