Angelica Creek used to feed Angelica Lake. Until the dam broke. Since then professor/student research teams from Albright have studied water flow, succession regimes, and invasive species in the former lake basin, and its potential as a self-sustaining wetland. Today, on the hottest day in years, David and Kristen, followed by a writer reporting on their work and their devoted photographer, took measurements and recorded observations in the creek itself and in the dense vegetation that has sprouted in the former lake bed.
