Albright's 10th Annual Music Business Forum, hosted and organized by A. J. Merlino featured three voices of experience representing different facets of the industry: Keri Shultz, President of the Reading Musical Foundation, detailed the work of non-profits in feeding our souls; Eric Cawala, Leader of the Uptown Band, recalled the many skills and attitudes needed to build a career as a performer; and Sallie Bengtson, President/Founder of Nola Blue Records, described how passion for the Blues lead to the creation of small, successful, and culturally significant record label. The Forum also featured scores of Albright students, eager to hear these voices and ready with great questions after each talk and during the networking lunch.
