On Friday evening, more than 200 friends and admirers gathered at the WCR Center for the Arts to honor the legacy of Dr. Tom Souders and his Father, Dr. Benjamin Souders, for their abiding generosity in bringing to their home town a gift of profound musical performances by the world's most eminent chamber ensembles. Drawn, as so many have been, by the "jewel of chamber music," the acoustically miraculous concert hall of the WCR Center, cellist Amit Peled and pianist Alon Goldstein offered an astonishing recital that left the audience brimming with gratitude. It was a very special night.
