The Berks Opera Workshop's production of Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly will be the highlight of Reading's musical summer. The two performances - Friday, August 8th @ 7:30 and Sunday, August 10th @ 3 PM - take place at The Miller Center, and feature a beguiling mix of professional singers and young talent from Berks County. This concert version of the great work will be sung in Italian with supertitles projected along with lovely woodcut-like images that further the sad, sad story.
