For 10 weeks this Summer, a large number of talented students, together with Faculty mentors, will be pursuing research on questions in a wide variety of fields. Today each of them offered a brief "elevator" summary of their projects. After lunch I visited the fashion studio to watch Ashley Hillegass, and her mentor MeeAe Oh-Ranck, confer with a customer for whom she is designing several original garments inspired by origami.
