Organized by Dr. Mike D'Errico, Albright's 11th Annual Music Business Forum brought together a remarkable diversity and depth of professional experiences in the music industry. A large group of students were impressed and inspired by all the wisdom launched in their direction. Presenters included legendary bassist and composer Bennie Sims, Rasheed Abdellah, founder of Indie-Life, Bryan Castle, Shipa Patel, Daniella Singh, and Laurie Duncan of Avid Media, Grammy winning producer MarioSo DeJesus, hip-hop pioneer Kyle Austin, and Dr. Tiffany Naiman, Director of Music Industry Programs at UCLA. Amidst all the technical advice, all the presenters emphasized the importance of friendship, self-knowledge, and being a good person.
