One of the highlights of Homecoming was the official dedication of the bronze Lion at the north end of the home stands in Shirk Stadium in honor of Maurice and Shirley Stahl who, for more than two decades managed athletic equipment at Albright and who mentored and loved all those who wore and used it.
Already the Lion has a firm place in Albright folk life. Football players pat its head for good luck as they take the field. They're 5-0. It seems to work. Selfless dedication and caring always bring good things.
