Just two hours after its arrival, I took my new 18-200mm lens out to the old ball game. It performed beautifully. I didn't make any serious attempts at capturing game action - since it was a night game. And midway through the fireworks display - in the dark - I mistook the focus ring for the zoom. Sorry!

Images 8-14 were taken on August 10th, from the 'Picnic Deck,' a great place to gather with friends and colleagues, but perhaps not a spot that optimizes engagement in the game - except when a line-drive home run came screaming into the last row of picnic tables.
