On a rainy Homecoming morning, Alumni,Faculty, Administrators, and Community representatives gathered to break "ground" for the reimagined Student Success Commons and Gingrich Library, a project so long in the dreaming and planning. Particularly touching were the remarks by City, County, and State officials who have been so instrumental in shepherding the project thus far and who spoke of the Library as the heart and the history of the College, of the new Commons as a resource for the wider community, and of Albright as a cherished institution in a place that will, increasingly, look to higher education as the means to chart and empower its future.
