Jay McCarroll, fashion designer and reality TV celebrity, had a packed Klein Room in stitches as he recounted his unlikely trajectory from "Bubblefuck, Pennsylvania" to his first-season victory on Project Runway and on to his post-glare fame and work. Part confession, part stand-up, part performance art, his gossipy, witty, and profane autobiography mixed bad advice with genuine insight, much to the crowd's delight.
