The Albright College Cafeteria played host to the City of Reading as newly elected or freshly re-elected officials - City Council Members, City Council President, City Auditor, and Mayor took their oaths of office. In their speeches, many recounted, in emotionally compelling terms, their embrace of the American Dream - El Sueno Americano. Council President Donna Reed reminded all that political victory is but a prelude to the hard tasks of representation and governing.
