Somber, thoughtful, and sincere, a large number of students gathered to raise questions and express concerns. Many of my colleagues joined me in supporting them, even though we ourselves have few answers at this time. It was a moving experience, as many concerns went well beyond fiscal challenges into the realm of personal tragedy. I was humbled by the students' courage and their love for each other, and very proud to be their teacher.
