I had the chance tonight to attend and photograph a dress rehearsal for the Domino Players' production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide, based on the book by Voltaire, and directed by Jeffrey Lentz. These few photos convey some of the sumptuousness of set and costume. It's a gorgeous production. And Bernstein's score matches the irony and critique of Voltaire's masterwork. You will want to see this show. Thurs., Friday, and Saturday at 8 PM Sunday at 2 PM in the Wachovia Theatre.
