Wonderfully organized by Ayanna Slacum and Jamilah Hyman, and sponsored by the African American Women's Leadership Association, the Albright Chapter of the NAACP, and the First Gen Club, the first annual Women's History Month Formal was, in fact, a moving and meaningful awards gala recognizing the inspiring and supportive influence of remarkable women among Albright Faculty, Staff, and Students and from the greater Reading community. It was a privilege to be part of this warm and generous evening.
